Guests frequently praise the spacious, well-equipped suites, friendly staff, and convenient location near shopping and Fort Eisenhower. However, there are recurring negative reviews regarding deeply unsanitary conditions, loud early-morning housekeeping, and frustrating conflicts with management and lack of essential housekeeping services. The hotel's furnishing and interiors are described as worn, outdated, and shabby.

The staff was kind and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent, but while the hotel seems to have been built recently, the appointments (carpets, shades, furniture)are worn and shabby.

A Comfortable and Convenient Stay! I had a wonderful experience at Home2 Suites in Grovetown. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and pleasant. The suite was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a full kitchen—perfect for an extended stay. I especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast and free WiFi. The location is ideal, close to restaurants, shopping, and just minutes from Fort Eisenhower. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers!

I was not aware of the this place being pet friendly. Which is not a problem, however if this is so steps should be taken to deep clean the room before the next person check in. After 1 day we returned back to the room it smelled like a dog been living there. I dont think the room was deep cleaned enough to irradiated the possibility of dander left behind. In addition this place only clean have house keeping services every other day. Therefore no housekeeping. There a Should be protocols put in place if a pet was housed in a room. My kids have allergies and complained about itching and they where sneezing but I thought it was from outdoors. Also we used the pull out bed for the living room area. There was no linen in the bag below the television only 3 pillows. The pillows were discolored not white but yellow tent which is disgusting, it need to be taking out of rotation. This hotel is really different then other Hiltons i visited.I decided to go with hilton because of the digital key provided, the contact less communication and nice rooms. But this was different. I dont live like this in my own home so I dont expect this when I travel. The front desk staff was awesome (Stevi) and heard my issues. Breakfast, lobby area, and hallways where awesome also.

We have 2 rooms and they both stink like a mixture of weed/feet & stale body odor. The rugs are gross and dirty looking, pillows are yellow and things just don't look/smell fresh and clean. Couches are stained. Not sure how this place has a 4.6 star rating overall.

Pleasant overall stay and highly recommended! As a frequent traveler, I usually stick with 2 other national brands with whom I have elite top tier status. After being very disappointed with those nearby stays at my usual brands, I tried this Home2 and am so glad I did. The room was spacious and quiet, even in a fairly busy area near the highway. There are multiple restaurants and stores very close by including an awesome discount grocery (Aldi) in 5 minutes walking distance. I felt safe and comfortable at all times even during early am ventures out to work and/or late evening returns back. The free breakfast was one of the nicest I've experienced as far as variety and the few times it was barren or slim pickings it was a large number of people there including groups with several kids/teens. The staff were always personable and friendly. I honestly wished I had stayed here sooner. Will definitely stay again if I'm ever back in the area.

Do yourself a massive favor, trust the negative reviews, and stay elsewhere. There are SO many better options in the area with much nicer and updated, clean rooms for the same price. This hotel is NOT WORTH IT. As a diamond member who travels regularly and always stays at Hilton’s, this was hands down the worst Hilton experience ever, tenfold, both because of the actual hotel and room itself and the atrocious actions of the assistant manager, Natasha Pearson. The most egregious issue was that I was forced to checked out 1/3 of the way through a 60 night stay because the Assistant Manager (Natasha Pearson) refused to have my room serviced or provide me with the items so that I could do it myself. My room was not serviced in over a week so I scheduled a cleaning for Sunday morning and confirmed with two other front desk representatives the day before that it was on the calendar for Sunday at 10am. Sunday morning, I walked to the front desk to let them know I was headed out a bit early and would be gone for several hours so the room was ready to be serviced, and had the absolute unfortunate experience of running into Natasha. She immediately had a nasty attitude towards us, didn’t look up to make eye contact when we walked up, and then immediately went off about how they would not be servicing my room because the other employees should have never scheduled a cleaning (I had done this on two other occasions with different staff and was also informed at check-in this could be done….not one person ever said it was an issue and they were always very quick to get me scheduled, no questions asked). When I informed her that I had absolutely no clean towels, soiled sheets, and no toilet paper or trash bags left, she shrugged and continued to be adamant that my room would not be serviced. I asked her when it would be serviced and she shrugged and refused to provide any information. I again told her I needed toilet paper, towels, and sheets and I would do it myself, and she refused to provide me these items and claimed she would “make note of my request.” I then informed her I would not be able to continuing paying for a room that was unusable with no toilet paper or towels, she shrugged and said “well, life goes on” and checked me out of the room, deactivating my room key in the process. She then REFUSED to grant me access back into my room to retrieve my belongings, even though I had paid for the room and check-out time had not passed. I literally had to threaten to call the police for her to finally reactivate my hotel card so that I could retrieve my belongings. Absolutely atrocious behavior, and from an assistant manager at that…… this lady should not be anywhere close to customers and if she treats her guests like this I can’t even IMAGINE how she treats the staff that work at the hotel. Other notes on the hotel itself - As many other reviews mention, the hotel is LOUD. You will hear everything from people in the halls, loud doors shutting throughout the night, garbage truck that comes every morning at 4:30am, and people walking around in the room above you. I short of just accepted how loud it was until I moved across the street to a different hotel and have not heard a single noise since checking in days ago and then realized how bad the Hilton really was noise-wise. Additionally, as many other comments have stated, the hotel breakfast is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. I only ever went with pre-packaged food or fruit because the other items looked inedible. The hotel has coin operated laundry machines. The front desk will give you coins if you provide them cash. There is a small gym that is pretty decent and a pool that has people in it at all times. It does close around 10 or 11pm. There are chairs and grills on the pool deck. The rooms are very outdated. The carpet in my room was very old and worn down. The kitchen did not have a stove top - only a microwave, dishwasher, and fridge. With so many other options in the area (that are 100x nicer), do yourself a favor and don’t even consider this place.

I don’t know her name, but the woman working at the front desk on the evening of June 25th was incredibly kind and helpful. Overall, the hotel was very clean, and the warm pool water made swimming really enjoyable and comfortable. One downside was that the bed pillows were too flat, which made it uncomfortable for me to sleepI personally prefer firmer pillows. Also, I think it would’ve been even better if they had scrambled eggs at breakfast.

The staff was great. We had an overall great stay. But do NOT checkout on the app. It does NOT communicate to the hotel. I checked out on the app. App said checked out. Hotel charged me for 6 extra days that we did not stay since they do not communicate to each other. Hotel refuses to refund me for extra days that I did not stay.

We were visiting Grovetown for our granddaughters 3rd birthday. This was our second time staying at this particular Home2 Suites. The room may have had damage from the recent hurricane that affected the Augusta area . I could see old damage on the ceiling, and the carpet looked pretty rundown. In regards to service, housekeeping never cleaned our room, and we only received new towels upon asking. I overheard the housekeepers talking about how short they were in regards to having help to clean the hotel. That's why I didn't hold it against them or request any service we just picked up after ourselves like usual. Otherwise it was a great stay and this hotel is located in an area close to stores and restaurants.

Stayed here for two weeks, absolutely wonderful space. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location was convenient to the highway and several shops/stores/restaurants within walking distance. Fair warning it is a high traffic area, so very busy at certain times. Gas grills by the pool was a plus so I got to cook a few times rather than eat fast food everyday.
